Books
At one time being labeled a bookworm had a stigma attached to it. It implied you were shy and awkward and probably wore thick, nerdy glasses. It meant you preferred spending a quiet night at home contemplating protagonists, antagonists, metaphors and onomatopoeia to a wild night on the town.
Then coffee shops came in vogue and Zach Braff and the sitcom “Scrubs” become popular on television and everything changed. Being the bookworm type became cool and hip.
In other words, it’s not the same old story anymore. That being the case, shouldn’t you buy some books for your child today?
